Brandon – Suzette “Suzie” Donley, 54 years old of Brandon, IA, died from cancer, Sunday December 2, 2012, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo, IA.  She was born September 17, 1958, in Saint Paul, MN, the daughter of Lyle “Red” Medearis and Goldie Berthine (Claypool) Medearis.  She attended school in Independence, IA, and then on December 19, 1975, she was united in marriage to Duane Allen Donley in Independence, IA.  They made their home in Brandon and Suzie was most recently employed as a mortgage loan closer for US Bank in Cedar Rapids, IA, until her illness.

Suzie is survived by her husband, Duane of Brandon, IA; one daughter, Tonya (Chad) Allen of Brandon, IA; three grandchildren, Alyssa, Mikayla and Jadyn; also two sisters, Linda (Ed) Kelly of Mission, TX, and Sandy (Randy) Knowlton of Branson, MO; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. – Thursday, December 6, 2012, at the White Funeral Home, Independence, IA, with Mr. Steven Felt officiating.  Burial will be at Bear Creek Cemetery, rural Brandon, IA.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
