GILBERTVILLE – Barbara H. Mayer, 88 years old, of Gilbertville, Iowa, died Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at her home in Gilbertville, following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. – Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Immaculate Conception, Gilbertville, with burial in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 12th at White Funeral Home, Jesup, Iowa, where there will be a rosary said at 4:00 p.m. and a vigil service at 7:00 p.m.

Memorials may be directed to the Bosco School System and Cedar Valley Hospice.
