JESUP – Gerald F. “Jerry” Bloes, 84 years old, of Jesup, Iowa, died Monday, August 10, 2026, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. – Friday, August 14, 2026, at St. Athanasius Catholic Church in Jesup, Iowa, with Fr. Douglas J. Loecke as celebrant. Burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 13, 2026, at White Funeral Home, Jesup, where there will be a Knights of Columbus rosary said at 4:00 p.m. and a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue for an hour before services Friday, at the church.

Memorials will be directed to St. Athanasius Church and School, Jesup Fire Department and Jesup Ambulance Association.
