INDEPENDENCE – Delbert L. King, Jr., 77 years old, of Marengo, Iowa, and formerly of Independence, Iowa, died peacefully at his home in Marengo, Thursday, April 23, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. - Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the White Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will follow at the Fontana Cemetery, Hazelton, Iowa.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until service time, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
