Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. – Monday, April 27, 2026, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, with burial at Old Barclay Cemetery, Jesup. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. -Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the funeral home. Memorials will directed to Old Barclay Cemetery Association. Online condolences may be posted at www.White-MtHope.com Janice was born August 26, 1933, in Buchanan County, IA, the daughter of Edward William Kemp and Beulah Mae (DeMoss) Kemp. She graduated from Jesup High School with the class of 1951. On July 2, 1952, she was united in marriage to Paul Richard Graham at Barclay Presbyterian Church. Janice farmed with her husband Paul, they also formed Paul Graham Trucking in the 1970’s. They both drove for the company, hauling grain. They enjoyed traveling, and saw much of the United States, from Alaska to Key West, Florida. For many years they were able to enjoy retirement living in Florida as well. Janice was a member of Barclay Presbyterian Church, rural Waterloo. Janice is survived by three daughters, Jennifer (Larry) Lightbody of Waterloo, Kathryn (Robert) Baldeck of Eustis, FL, Carol (Douglas) Ames of Garner, IA; 5 grandchildren, Michael (Emily) Lightbody, Elizabeth (Seth) Harms, Graham (Brittany) Baldeck, Merrielle Hinz, Cherilyn (Dustin) Hazelwood; 7 great- grandchildren, Cooper Harms, Parker Harms, Logan Baldeck, Adrian Jordan, Grace Hinz, Bella Hazelwood, Wade Baldeck; one sister, Leigh Ann James of Ottumwa, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Paul; and one granddaughter, Alexis Baldeck; four sisters, Mary Ellen Spear McNeal, Willa Mae Thiry, Judith Lee Hoye, Lynne Kemp; one brother, Allan Kemp and her son-in-law, Larry A. Lightbody. White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, is in charge of the arrangements. |
