JESUP - Ronald Gene Broad, 82 years old of Melbourne, FL, and formerly of Jesup, IA, died Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at his home in Melbourne.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. – Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Cedar Crest Cemetery, Jesup, IA, with Pastor Mandy McCleary officiating. Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church, Jesup, IA. Online condolences may be posted at www.White-MtHope.com.

Ronald was born January 10, 1942, in Independence, IA, the son of Burl Austin Broad and Thelma Marie (Ingamells) Broad. He graduated from Jesup High School and then attended the University of Northern Iowa where he received his degree in Accounting. Ronald made his home in Texas and then in Florida, while working for the Department of Defense as an accountant for 30 years before his retirement.

Ronald is survived by one sister, Sharon (Russell) Andreassen of Waterloo, IA; one brother, Richard Broad of Eagan, MN; one brother-in-law, Alan Kuebler of Plano, TX; nieces and nephews, Kevin Kuebler, Kim Thompson, Lori Aguiar and Tim Andreassen. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sandra Kuebler.
