Born on July 23, 1934, to parents Warren and Katherine (Davis) Pratt in Des Moines, Iowa. Shirley graduated from Rowley High School in 1952. She married Wayne Rehberg in Rowley, Iowa on December 28th of 1955 and they would be blessed with four children. Being crafty, Shirley sewed a lot of her own clothing and even worked at Stretch n’ Sew for eight years. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and playing card games, especially Bridge. Shirley is survived by those who love her most, children Paul (Nancy) Rehberg, Michael (Lisa) Rehberg, Anthony (Kathleen) Rehberg, Jennifer (Kyle) Vincent; grandchildren Mathew (Jennifer) Rehberg, Alexander Rehberg, Amelia (Tyler Burnham) Rehberg, Elizabeth (Clayton) Craig, Joshua Vincent, Mikayla Vincent; great-grandchildren Emmalyn, Hayden, Noah, Dessie, Matthew, Lucas, Eva; grandson-in-law Kristofor (Etta Hitt) Franklin; special family member Joe Yoder; and friend Grace Wiley. Shirley is predeceased by her parents, husband Wayne, brother Phillip Pratt, sister Doris (Kenneth) Thompson, and granddaughter Kristin(Rehberg) Franklin. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Morning Star Village and ProMedica/Heartland Hospice for their care for Shirley. A visitation will take place on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 3910 Rockton Avenue, Rockford, IL, 61103. Interment and graveside service will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Rowley Cemetery in Rowley, Iowa. Luncheon to follow at the Rowley Community Hall.
