JESUP – Kenneth Charles Grigg, 71 years old of Jesup, IA, died, Friday, July 21, 2023, at his home.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. – Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, with burial at Cedar Crest Cemetery, Jesup, IA.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at the White Funeral Home in Jesup.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Online condolences may be posted at www.White-MtHope.com

Kenneth was born March 16, 1952, in North Carolina, the son of Herman Cicero Grigg and Virginia Laura (Church) Grigg.  In 1972, he was united in marriage to Wanda Elaine Standridge in Gastonia, NC.  They later divorced.  Kenneth was self employed in the concrete construction business before retirement.  He had also worked as a part time peace officer.  He enjoyed old cars, motorcycles, singing Karaoke, and at times, being a prankster, but time spent with his children and grandchildren was what he most enjoyed.

Kenneth is survived by his former wife, Wanda Standridge of Jesup; two sons, Jayson (Brenda) Grigg of Jesup, Joshua Grigg of Waterloo; grandchildren, Alexa (Marshall) Gibbs, Lindsey (Austin) Koch, Eli’Ana Grigg; great grandchildren, Weston, Kayson, Avayah and one on the way; three sisters, Kathy (Kevin) Spargo, Karon (Bill) Baker, Karla (Eddie) McClure; five brothers, Kalvin (Paulette) Grigg, Karl Grigg, Kelly (Tamara) Grigg, Kalman (Glenda) Grigg, Kevin (Janelle) Grigg; also, his uncle, Paul (Carolyn) Grigg and many nieces and nephews.  His parents, one brother, Keith S. Grigg and one sister, Khristine Armstrong, preceded him in death.
