White Funeral Home Jesup – Justina Marie Steffen, new born infant daughter of Randall & Kara (Leymaster) Steffen was born Sunday, January 7, 2018, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. She died hours later on Monday, January 8, 2018, at University Hospitals. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. – Monday, January 15, 2018, at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Jesup, Iowa, with Fr. Jeffrey A. Dole as celebrant. Burial will be at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Baldwinsville, New York. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Sunday, January 14, 2018, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, where there will be a rosary at 5:00 p.m. Visitation will continue for an hour before services Monday at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family. Justina Marie Steffen is survived by her parents, Randall and Kara Steffen of Liverpool, New York; one sister, Sophia Steffen and six brothers, Alexander, Maxwell, Henry, Timothy, Lucas and Neil Steffen all at home; maternal grandparents, Ted and Cheryl Leymaster of Jesup, Iowa; paternal grandmother, Margaret Steffen of Dunkerton, Iowa; maternal great grandparents, Homer and Ruth Anne Leymaster of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Neil and Eula Wood of Marion, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Sharon Leymaster and paternal grandfather, Cletus Steffen. |
