Jesup – Daniel L. Kimball, 57 years old of Jesup, IA, died late Monday, October 13, 2014, after a fall at his home.  Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. – Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Jesup Bible Fellowship, Jesup, IA, with Pastor Matt Perez officiating.  Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, and for an hour before servicesSaturday at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Daniel Leland Kimball was born September 7, 1957, in Waterloo, IA, the son of Burdette Arthur Kimball and Darlene Emma (Tupy) Kimball.  He graduated from Jesup High School with the class of 1975.  On September 24, 1983, he was united in marriage to Babette Ann Stafford at the First Baptist Church in Jesup.  Dan was employed as a shipping coordinator at O’Neal Steel, in Waterloo, IA.  He was talented in metal fabrication and could build or repair most anything.

He is survived by his wife, Babette Kimball of Jesup; one son, Derek (Kristen) Kimball of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Lindsey Kimball of Jesup, Kristin Kimball and Kaylee Kimball, both at home; three grandchildren, Viola, Gideon and Charlotte Kimball; his mother, Darlene Kimball of Jesup; one brother, Steve (Diane) Kimball of Dunkerton; two sisters, Deb (Paul) McCollum of Centerville, Ohio and Becky (Terry) McBride of Ft. Irwin, CA.

He is preceded in death by his father, Burdette and one daughter, Melissa Kimball.
