Bluffton, South Carolina – Shaun Michael Wahe, 41 years old of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Kansas City and St. Louis, MO, died of cancer, Friday, November 27, 2020 at Memorial Health – University Medical Center in Savannah, GA.

Graveside Services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 7, 2020, at Maple Hill Cemetery , 3300 Shawnee Drive, Kansas City, KS.  Pastor Terry Brown will be the officiant with vocalist Karl Ingraham and pianist Marilyn DiGennaro.  Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, KS.

Visitation will be for an hour before services at Maple Hill Cemetery.  Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all in attendance will be required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.  Masks will be provided if necessary.

Shaun was born March 28, 1979, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Brian Howard Wahe and Diane Marie (Ingraham) Wahe.  He attended high school in the St. Louis, MO, area and then worked as a carpenter. Shaun had lived in the Omaha, NE, and Atlanta, GA, areas before moving to Bluffton, SC, where he and Pauline Torres were married.  He was a member of Live Oak Christian Church in Bluffton.  Shaun enjoyed spending time with his family; made friends easily wherever he lived; and had a passion for playing drums, which led him to be a member of several bands in the St. Louis and Atlanta areas.  Shaun also, was a diehard Kansas City Chief football fan.

Shaun is survived by his wife, Pauline Torres of Bluffton, SC; four daughters, Trinity Mitchell of Atlanta; Ariana Wahe, Elise Wahe and Jada Wahe, all of Eugene, OR; one son, Coy Wahe of Kansas City, MO; one step-daughter, Samantha Torres of Bluffton, SC; his mother, Diane Wahe-St. Germain, of Austell, GA; his father and step mother, Brian and Susan Wahe of Wildwood, MO; one sister, Latrisha (Chris) Callahan of Wildwood, MO; one brother, Brent H. Wahe of Austell, GA; one step-brother, Brian (Carrie) Doyon of Ballwin, MO; and his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Ingraham of Roeland, KS.

His maternal grandfather, Karl Ray Ingraham; paternal grandparents, Bill and Carmen Wahe; and stepfather, Girard St. Germain; preceded him in death.

White Funeral Home, Jesup, Independence and Quasqueton, Iowa is in charge of the arrangements.
