Jesup – LaVerne Louis Kuper, 79 years old of rural Fairbank, IA, died Thursday, September 13, 2018, at his home of natural causes.  He was born January 3, 1939, at Ackley, IA, the son of Harm Kuper, Jr. and Velma (Harms) Kuper.  He graduated from Hansel High School in 1958.  Following his serving in the US Army he worked at Chamberlain Manufacturing in Waterloo and then later worked construction.

Mr. Kuper is survived by two sisters, Lavera (Keith) Jarman of Knoxville, IA and Linda Kuper of Lakeland, FL; also a niece Michelle Rand and a nephew Brian Wente.

A time for remembering LaVerne will be held, Saturday, October 6, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Hook-N-Liner in Littleton.
